No Choice? No Problem! You Can Only Order ONE Thing At This New Massachusetts Restaurant
One Entree Only Menu Coming to a Restaurant In Massachusetts.
OK, this is wild. Imagine going to a fine dining restaurant and only being able to order ONE THING?
Well, it’s coming to Massachusetts – Watertown specifically – and it’s already popular across the US.
Medium Rare plans to open next spring at 130 Arsenal Yards. The chain currently has four locations — three in Greater Washington, D.C., and one in New Orleans.
The Watertown location is part of a larger growth effort for a restaurant that’s known for its simple, prix fixe menu that features just one entree served at dinner — steak frites.
That’s it. Steak frites. Take it or leave it.
According to WickedLocal.com, the model is a successful.
“For under $30, guests are served artisan rustic bread, a mixed green salad and their award-winning culotte steak and hand-cut fries with special sauce. Medium Rare also offers a vegan-friendly alternative — grilled portobello with fire-roasted red pepper sauce and hand-cut fries.”
The restaurant offers something even better: Halfway through their meals, diners are offered a second helping at no additional cost.
Also?
Brunch, too, is prix fixe, including bottomless brunch drinks and more options than dinner.
Which got me thinking: if you could only serve one thing at the imaginary restaurant you own – what would it be?
