Get ready for a new dating reality show, with a twist. It's a naked twist at that. There is a new dating show taking the world by storm and it's very controversial because of its contents. The show is testing the fact of how important it is to be attracted to someone and their nakedness. It's called "Naked Attraction" and it has been added to the streaming service "Max." The show was sort of secretly added to the streaming service but has caught on pretty quickly and become pretty controversial for obvious reasons. Here's how the show works.

The show has already been on for six seasons on the UK so those shows have been imported here. It vows to “start where a good date often ends — naked.” There is one "chooser" who starts to eliminate potential partners by only seeing nude body parts that are revealed one at a time. The person's face is revealed last. When only two potential daters remain, the chooser then takes off their clothes and allows the two finalists to critique them. The final couple then goes on a date, with their clothes on. The show is airing on Max with the disclaimer: “The following series is intended only for mature audiences. It contains full frontal nudity, course language, and graphic discussions about the human body. Viewer discretion is advised.”

While the show is trying to promote body positivity, it's obvious that the chooser is picking people based on some really superficial things like feet, genitals, torso etc. The show is being blasted by media critics but it is getting some fun reviews from actual viewers.
