‘Hocus Pocus’ Celebrates 30 Years: Some Of The Cast Will Fly Into To Salem This Week
As if Salem isn’t crazy enough this time of year, it’s about to get a lot crazier. Get ready North Shore, because big crowds are coming this weekend. As the hugely popular movie Hocus Pocus celebrates 30 years, some of the cast will fly into Salem this week!
Friday and Saturday cast members Omri Katz, who played Max, Vinessa Shaw, who played Allison, and Thora Birch, who played Dani will all descend upon witch city starting Friday. They even posted on Facebook saying, “This is not a joke.” They are hosting a couple of parties and said they will even dress up. It’s a ticketed event and there is a link for you below.
The iconic Disney movie made it’s debut in 1993 and has become a yearly watching tradition in millions of homes ever since. As reported on MassLive, Friday the cast will scare up a good time at BitBar in Salem from 8pm -1m. It’s an arcade/bar you’ll find at 278 Derby Street. Who knows maybe you could play a little air guitar with “Max, or hit the pinball machines with “Dani.”
On Saturday, the “kids” of Hocus Pocus will be brewing up some fun at Salem Common. Catch them there from 12:00 noon to 7pm. They will be signing autographs, taking pictures and as Thora Birch says in the video above, taking a walk “down memory lane.”
