Famous actors spotted in Boston? Who? Why? Where? Get the scoop here!
As reported in Boston.com, award-winning Hollywood stars were seen at quite a few local spots on Sunday to showcase their new mezcal brand, Dos Hombres. Yup, it happened right here at home. 2 big name actors were spotted mixing drinks and handing out booze in Boston!
Here's the story. 2 TV superstars from the award-winning drama, Breaking Bad, were seen on Sunday promoting their new brand of mezcal called Dos Hombres. And how perfect that co-stars and real life buddies Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have been brewing up some booze together. It's true, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman were spotted at a bunch of Boston area places on Sunday.
Here's Where They Were Spotted
Cranston and Paul also made popped into Trillium Brewing, Time Out Market Boston, Grace by Nia to mix and serve their mezcal to fans. They also had promotional stops at Total Wine and More in Dorchester, and Market Basket in Waltham (right down the street from us)! Dang, and I wasn't at work. Reportedly, the hit just about everywhere including Bostonia near Faneuil Hall, View at the Pru, and the Envoy Hotel in the Seaport. And Bryan and Aaron even posed for pics and signed autographs for fans, according to boston.com and as reported in the Boston Globe.
How cool would it have been to be hanging out with these guys? Check out this post from Grace by Nia
Aaron Paul told the Globe, "We grew it from its infancy," referring to their brand of mezcal, Dos Hombres. Bryan Cranston added, "There are some similarities between running the business and the work they normally do as actors." He went on to explain that like characters they don't know going into a show, business is the same. They just try to be sponges and soak in the knowledge of the product and business.
On the website, you'll see a quote from the actors/friends about their business. It says:
"We started Dos Hombres to create a Mezcal that we thought was perfect. A unique blend of the finest Espadin agave, hand-selected from the hillsides of a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico." Frankly, I can't wait to try Dos Hombres.
12 Actors That Hated Working Together In Movies and TV
These are some of our favorite actors!
You don't have to like someone to work with them. And that's just as true in Hollywood as it is anywhere else. Here are some examples of co-stars who did NOT get along:
1. Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep, "Kramer vs. Kramer".
They were playing warring spouses, but Meryl felt Dustin "overstepped" when he ad-libbed a SLAP that made it into the movie. Dustin later apologized.
2. Winona Ryder and Gary Oldman, "Bram Stoker's Dracula".
Winona says they got along fine during rehearsals, but things changed when they started shooting, and she, quote, "felt like there was a danger."
3. Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy, "Mad Max: Fury Road".
They were already not getting along when Tom showed up to the set three hours late one day. Charlize let him have it, and he got right in her face. Charlize felt threatened, and requested protection for the remainder of the shoot.
4. Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn, "Four Christmases".
Reese is pretty meticulous about rehearsing and learning lines, while Vince likes to ad-lib. The tension it caused was bad enough that they cut a sex scene from the movie, because Reese didn't even want to pretend to be intimate with him.
5. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, "The Notebook".
Sure, they ended up dating for two years . . . but they couldn't stand each other at first. They had to work out their issues in a meeting with the producer and director where they, quote, "started screaming and yelling at each other."
6. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, "The X-Files".
Gillian once said, quote, "There were definitely periods when we hated each other . . . We didn't talk for long periods of time. It was intense, and we were both pains in the [butt] for the other at various times."
