Connor’s Kindness Project is going strong this holiday season as it continues to help kids in need, one project at a time.

If you don’t know Connor’s story, here it is, right from his website:

What started as a community project to help children during the Covid-19 pandemic, evolved into an effort to improve the wellbeing of children dealing with a serious medical issue, mental health condition, unfortunate family crisis, or a homeless or poverty situation with its Kindness Kit distribution program. The organization, also has a Kindness Club program which focuses on encouraging kindness amongst elementary school age children as a way to promote community and inclusiveness.

Maybe you’ve heard the PSA we’ve been running this year on ROCK 92.9 for Connor’s Kindness Project. As the holiday season rolls on, the project continues to collect donations to create more “Kindness Kits” for kids in need. What’s a “Kindness Kit,” you ask?

A Kindness Kit is a box of carefully thought out items (selected by Connor himself) and includes a mini Lego set, Bombas socks, Etch A Sketch, Play-Doh, slime, crayons, a coloring book, stickers, a Foldscope, and Pop It. The kits are delivered to children in hospitals and shelters and are meant to be entertaining, comforting and fun for children in challenging situations.

Connor’s Kindness Project Helps Kids This Holiday Season

There are a number of ways you can help the project. Make a donation here (Connor’s Kindness Project is a registered 501 (c)(3) organization in Massachusetts). Want to collect Kindess Kit contents? You can get the info on that here. And if you have time to volunteer, Connor and his crew can certainly use your help.

We’ll let Connor himself tell you the rest below. Happy Holidays from ROCK 92.9! Please keep Connor’s Kindness Project in mind this holiday season and into the new year.
