Baker Rolls MA Back in Wake of COVID-19 Case and Hospitalization Surge
The quote from Governor Charlie Baker: “Effective this Sunday, the Commonwealth will move every community in Massachusetts back to Phase 3 Step 1.”
The rollback comes in the wake of a Coronavirus surge that began earlier this fall and has only worsened in the wake of the Thanksgiving holiday. If your memory needs refreshing, Phase 3 Step 1 includes capping capacity in most businesses at 40% and limiting outdoor gatherings to 50 people. In addition, restaurant seating drops from 10 per table to 6 per table, with a 90-minute limit for patrons.
