The COVID-19 pandemic has decimated the music industry worldwide. But you can lend a hand to musicians right here in New England.
The New England Musicians Relief Fund is spearheading a campaign this holiday season to raise and distribute $200,000 to professional musicians in New England who are facing pandemic-related financial stress. So many of these artists depend on playing live to make ends meet. They’ve not been able to do that since early March, and it will likely be many more months before they can play out again.
The NEMRF has done exemplary work throughout the Coronavirus crisis to aid local musicians and, with your help, that work can continue. But don’t just take my word for it: Listen to Ken Casey from Dropkick Murphys below. Then click here to make a donation. Every little bit helps.
