Over the weekend, the Boston Red Sox wrapped up their underwhelming, COVID-shortened 2020 campaign. But there were a few moments of joy.
Red Sox first baseman Michael Chavis was mic’d up for one of the final games of the season. Turns out he’s a big Disney fan: he talked a bit about Mulan and The Lion King, and even sang a few bars of “Hakuna Matata.” Hey, it gets lonely out there with no fans in the stand.
