The Coronavirus crisis is the cause of a great deal of stress and anxiety for a great many of us. Here’s something that might help alleviate some of that.
Alan Gogoll is an Australian songwriter and guitar innovator. If you’re reading this and you’re a guitar nerd, he’s the guy who invented Bell Harmonics. If you’re reading this and you’re not a guitar nerd, just know that he’s an incredibly talented guitar player.
In this video, Gogoll plays twenty minutes of assorted fingerstyle acoustic guitar melodies. The music is soothing, but the visual is even moreso: his guitar strings are illuminated with calming colors and animated in a way where the vibrations of the strings are visualized. Keep it handy and press play the next time you need a moment to decompress.
