Mookie Betts is gone. David Price is, too. And so is Brock Holt, for that matter. And now Chris Sale might be down for the count.
It’s been a rough stretch for the Red Sox. As they slog their way through a Spring Training schedule that has so far yielded only one win, things are looking pretty dim, with trades and injuries taking out some of our Fenway favorites.
Personally, the Mookie trade was a “f*ck this” moment for me. I’m not saying I’m rooting against the Red Sox (I’ll hold off on doing that if and when they bring back Clay Buchholz), but I’m just not feeling it this year. Are you in the same boat?
