The Bruins lost Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals at the Garden last night. We all need a distraction, and I believe I’ve found just the thing.

 

20 years ago, alt-rockers Lit played the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California. Below you’ll find the live performance of their monster hit “My Own Worst Enemy.” The performance is fine, but that’s not what you’ll take away from the clip. As YouTube commenter Honeydew Wilkins states, the video features “the greatest crowd shots of any live performance video on YouTube.”

 

Feast your eyes on all the awkward, cringe-inducing glory of what it was like to attend an outdoor rock show in the summer of 1999. And forget your troubles, if only for a fleeting moment.
