These Are The Best Places To Shop On Black Friday According To WalletHub

Ahh Thanksgiving…a time to gather with family and friends and show appreciation for each other, the food on the table and all the blessings in life. It’s also a great time to shop for Black Friday deals! But, before you gather the gang together, shine up your credit cards and set the GPS for the local mall, consider these options. These are the best places to shop on Black Friday, according to WalletHub.

What was once a popular holiday tradition has definitely changed over the years. Hitting the shops at the crack of dawn to stand in lines for the best deals is really a thing of the past. Black Friday shopping saw more Americans shopping from home in 2022, according to a recent report from WalletHub.  In fact, the report said that people shopped on Black Friday more than they did in stores, last year. Over 122 million of us shopped in stores, while over 130 million made their purchases for Black Friday online.

Where And What Are The Black Friday Deals

The online personal finance site, WalletHub, did the work to help us discover where the best deals are at chain stores and online marketers. How did they come up with the information? They looked over 3,500 deals from 13 of the largest retailers in the United States from the 2023 2023 Black Friday ad scans. Below, you’ll find the stores that furnish the biggest advertised discounts, which was provided by WalletHub.  Products range from jewelry to appliances for the best deal.

According to Cassandra Happe, a WalletHub Analyst, “The best Black Friday deals can save you up to 85%, which could translate into hundreds or even thousands of dollars in savings, depending on the extent of your shopping spree. “Knowing exactly where to find the best deals can also help you save a lot of time and avoid a lot of aggravation. You don’t even need to leave your house and fight the mob in an actual store.”

As you can see here, JCPenney has the biggest discounts offering an average of 59. 1%. And Happe says that’s where you will save the most money if you’re looking for jewelry, clothing, appliances and accessories. Macy’s comes in 2nd with the best Black Friday deals, providing about a 58.2% discount. If you looking to buy furniture, clothing or jewelry, Macy’s is a great place for those items.
