These Are The Favorite Romantic Comedies In Every State
With Valentine’s Day approaching, you might opt to stay in for dinner and a movie on the big day. And if you do, chances are you’ll be watching a well-loved romantic comedy. But which one? House Method says that it all depends on where you reside.
According to a recent survey, the company was able to break down the most popular romantic comedies by state. In the running were The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Bridemaids, Wedding Crashers, 13 Going on 20, 500 Days of Summer, Love Actually, Enchanted, Bridget Jones Diary, Amelie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Jono, Chocolat, and Under The Tuscan Sun. To determine their findings, 4,629 Americans were surveyed.
Dominating as the most popular movie in 19 states, including New York, North Carolina, and South Carolina, was The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Right behind it was Bridemaids, who is a favorite in 11 states. The remaining 20 states liked one of the remaining 11 movies.
The survey also determined the most popular romantic comedy by age. The majority of participants born in the 70s, 80s, and 90s all preferred The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Those born in the 2000s were partial to 500 Days of Summer.
