These 3 Boston Bus Routes Are Now Free for Everyone
Last fall, Boston Mayor Kim Janey made the MBTA’s 28 bus free as part of a pilot program. Now, the 28–and two other MBTA routes–are free for good.
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu made the announcement on Twitter this morning.
Help us spread the word: Starting today, the 23, 28 & 29 @MBTA buses are free for everyone! @Kim_Janey @RepPressley @SenMarkey pic.twitter.com/GKVV5EvB3S

The 28 joins the MBTA’s 29 and 23 routes as free as of today, March 1. Guess we should probably throw this one on then, right?
