The Bellforge Arts Center schedule for the spring of 2024 has been released. I have a feeling you'll have an event or two that will interest you.

If you're not wise to Bellforge, it's one of Massachusetts' newest music, arts, and culture venues. And it's history is just as compelling as the events they have planned for this spring.

Back in 1896, Medfield State Hospital opened. It was built using a cottage-style layout. That helped hospital residents take full advantage of daylight, fresh air, exercise, and socialization.

MSH was closed in 2003, purchased by the Town of Medfield in 2014, and reimagined in 2020. Now, all that daylight, fresh air, and socialization is taking place at Bellforge. Learn more here.

As they like to say, there's always something for everyone. And that's the case for the spring offerings at Bellforge. The season actually kicked off on April 13 with The Reset by TRILLFIT.

Take a look below at what else is to come for the spring calendar. The Bellforge Arts Center is located in Medfield, between Boston, Worcester, and Providence. Visit them here to learn more.

The Top 10 Most Expensive Tours of 2024 Are Pricey

The most expensive tours of 2024...so far. As the year rolls on and our concert calendars fill up, it's time for some number-crunching.

Let's take a look back first, though. I put together this Top 10 of the most expensive concert tickets of 2023 at the beginning of the year. You'll likely not be surprised when I tell you that Taylor Swift's Eras Tour and U2's Las Vegas Sphere residency ranked highly. But neither of them was No. 1. Take a look here to see who was No. 1 and to check out the rest of the Top 10.

Just like my last list, the numbers from this list come via Gametime. They bill themselves as "the leading app/site for last minute tickets." They've crunched the numbers and compiled a list of the 10 most expensive tours of 2024 (so far). There's a bit of carryover from 2024, which is to be expected, as that's how touring cycles go. But there are also some new acts that make this list.

The Top 10 Most Expensive Tours of 2024

These numbers are staggering because, as I've written before, year: Concert Ticket Prices Are Insane, and It Will Likely Stay That Way. You can read my piece to dig into the reasons why. And you can also cut costs by entering to win tickets on the ROCK 92.9 Contest Page. The number of shows we're giving away tickets to in 2024 is borderline ridiculous.

And I'll say it again before we dive into this most expensive tours list: the best way to save money on live music is to support the local scene. Boston (and beyond) is blessed with a bevy of brilliant live acts. And the city's live music venues flourish when we, the music fans, show out for gigs. I think you'll agree, especially once you've experienced the sticker shock below.

10) Eagles

Median Ticket Price: $299 per ticket

Tour Stops: 22

The Long Goodbye. Their final tour. Or so they say...

9) Garth Brooks

Median Ticket Price: $328 per ticket

Tour Stops: 36

I'll pass on $328 a pop for Garth Brooks tix. Now, if it were Chris Gaines? Take my money!

8) Morgan Wallen

Median Ticket Price: $328 per ticket

Tour Stops: 36

The country station down the hall from us plays the hell out of this guy. Good for them.

7) Pearl Jam

Median Ticket Price: $345 per ticket

Tour Stops: 21

Those Fenway Park tickets ain't cheap. You'd better keep listening for your chance to win 'em from us.

6) New Edition

Median Ticket Price: $445 per ticket

Tour Stops: 12

$100 more per ticket than Pearl Jam? Nostalgia is a powerful drug.

5) Olivia Rodgrigo

Median Ticket Price: $475 per ticket

Tour Stops: 46

My oldest way WAAAY into her on her last tour. Thankfully, he's no longer a fan. So I'm off the hook.

4) U2

Median Ticket Price: $528 per ticket

Tour Stops: 15

Sphere or no Sphere, U2 is always a big draw. So you're always going to have to shill out.

3) Phish

Median Ticket Price: $634 per ticket

Tour Stops: 35

All the dirtfeet that saw Phish dirt cheap back in the '90s must be livid. Lol.

2) Adele

Median Ticket Price: $1,004 per ticket

Tour Stops: 31

Adele topped last year's list of big money tix. Guess who beat her out this year?

1) Taylor Swift

Median Ticket Price: $2,603 per ticket

Tour Stops: 18

Just a reminder that Taylor Swift could singlehandedly turn the concert industry upside down and fix it for us all. Yet she chooses not to.
