You Can Get Paid $2,000 To Watch 10 Best Picture Oscar Nominees
Are you into movies? There’s a company looking to pay someone $2,000 to watch all 10 Best Picture Oscar nominees. They’ll also gift a 65-inch 4K TV and a $500 DoorDash gift card for snacks.
After watching the films, whoever they choose will have to predict the Oscar winners for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress.
They’ll also have to rate each film on different criteria like creativity, its ability to evoke emotion, and memorability.
Get paid to sit on the couch and watch movies
That’s a novel idea isn’t it? After all, we usually have to pay to see these movies, but if they’re willing to dish the cash out to sit on the couch and eat popcorn and get paid, that’s a deal. If you went to the movies and paid to see these 10 Oscar Nominated films you would have probably paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $200 in tickets just for one person, double it if you are going with someone. Not to mention how much money you would have spent on snacks, which is usually at least as much or more than you paid per ticket.
If you’re anything like me, than you probably have seen only a couple of these movies. I have seen 3 of the 10, Barbie, The Holdovers and Oppenheimer. Of these three the choice for best film by far is Oppenheimer. I recommend it to everybody as a true must see masterpiece. As far as Barbie goes, it was okay for me, but honestly I’m far from being the target audience for it. The Holdovers was exceptional and probably would be a contender in any other year.
In case you need a refresher, these are the Best Picture nominees:
1. “American Fiction”
2. “Anatomy of a Fall”
3. “Barbie”
4. “The Holdovers”
5. “Killers of the Flower Moon”
6. “Maestro”
7. “Oppenheimer”
8. “Past Lives”
9. “Poor Things”
10. “The Zone of Interest”
The Oscars air live on Sunday, March 10th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on ABC.
