PMC Unpaved Returns for 2023
PMC Unpaved comes back to the Berkshires on September 23 for another ride to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The news comes on the heels of the announcement of this year’s Pan Mass Challenge, which will take place on the first weekend in August: August 5-6, 2023. Registration for that is open now, with routes and fundraising minimums to meet everyone’s skill set. Riders also have the option to ride in-person or with reimagined virtual routes. The PMC donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and has donated $831 million since 1980. Go to PMC.org for more info and to register.
Now, PMC Unpaved? That’s a different vibe altogether. PMC Unpaved lets riders choose between two fully-supported routes of 30 or 50 miles on that wind along along picturesque forests, lakes, and farmlands through western Massachusetts and New York. Riders are also invited to take advantage of the full weekend experience. You’ll roll into Camp Mah-Kee-Nac in Lenox, MA on Friday, September 22. You’ll kick off the weekend right with a campfire, then take your ride on Saturday morning. After the ride, it’s full-on celebration mode all afternoon at the camp. The weekend wraps up on Sunday morning with a breakfast sendoff.

And PMC Unpaved let’s you keep fundraising AFTER the weekend, with a fundraising deadline of November 1. Just like the Original Recipe PMC, 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes to Dana Farber.
