It isn’t much, but Tool is slowly, but surely, teasing new details about their long-awaited new studio album.
Their latest update comes in the form of an animated video that shows a new logo design.
Tool confirmed that August 30 would be the release date for the follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days during a May 7 show in Birmingham, Ala. Maynard James Keenan even told fans in attendance, “Alright everyone take out your phones, security stand down and let these f—ers do whatever it is with their phones” before flashing an August 30 graphic on the show’s projection screens.
Besides performing new tracks “Descending” and “Invincible” at recent shows, no other updates have been unveiled.
