We are a city accustomed to hearing…”We’re #1! We’re #1!  This time, we are not. And frankly, I’m not sure if I can get over that. Ok, I’m over it. Hey look, consider how many cities there are in the WORLD. It’s a lot. So where Boston ranks on a list of the top 100 best…is actually pretty impressive. But we won’t rest until we are the best! Let’s go Boston!

A global leading advisor in tourism, real estate and econominc development, Resonance Consultancy, recently announced the world’s 100 top-performing cities. Their World’s Best Cities report rankings look at the overall performance of more than 250 cities. The “best” are determined on a wide variety of factors. The best places to live, invest, work and visit are most important.

    We’re #36! We’re #36! Doesn’t have quite the same ring to it as “We’re #1.” But, 36th in the WORLD? That’s pretty darn good. “America’s oldest big city has never been more current,” is how the article starts.

    London wins! The restaurants, tourism, convenience, cleanliness, public transportation, beauty, economy and people have driven London to the top of the list again. The Royal city continues to “reign as the planet’s best city for the seventh year running.” (Resonance.com)

  • #2 City: Paris, France

    According to the findings, Paris came back strong from the pandemic by opening the streets to people and closing many to traffic. It has become a city that embraces “pedestrianism and alfresco living.” But wait there’s more, “The torrent of new and renoed hotels in the city is also doubling down on outdoor spaces.”
