Boston’s Brewery Battle – RECAP
We started with 64 of the top Breweries in the Boston area. Congratulations to the top 4 who were ranked by YOU, the ROCK 92.9 listener.
Now its time to go out, support your local breweries, and see what they have to offer:
1st place: Vitamin Sea Brewing in Weymouth
Opened in Feb of 2019, Vitamin Sea Brewing has its roots firmly planted on the South Shore of MA. Their taproom at 30 Moore Road in Weymouth features twelve taps covering a wide range of styles from IPAs to stouts and even cold brew coffee, as well as a wide range of to-go cans, merchandise, and great local cuisine from our many food vendor partners. Vitamin Sea Brewing is excited to be a part of this great local craft beer scene and look forward to bringing consumers lots of delicious beer for many years to come!
2nd place: Tree House Brewing Company in Charlton
Tree House Brewing Company began in a small red barn in Brimfield, Massachusetts. Since day one, the goal has been to present consumers with reliably delightful beer that can contribute positively to life’s precious moments, both big and small. Having grown from a five gallon Coleman cooler brewhouse to a state of the art 60 BBL, German-engineered brewhouse, Tree House, an independent brewer-owned brewery, is driven by the same people with the same energy and the same intent to bring them joy as it was nine years ago.
3rd place: Castle Island Brewing Company in Norwood
Castle Island Brewing has been focused on and featuring Fiver. It’s their newest year-round hazy IPA offering, clocking in at 6.3% ABV and featuring Citra, Simcoe, and El Dorado hops. Soft, tropical and juicy, consumers can always feel good about cracking open a Fiver, because 5% of all proceeds from this beer goes to support charities in the community and beyond. It can be found right in their Taproom in Norwood, and in consumers favorite package store all over Massachusetts.
4th place: Night Shift Brewing in Everett
