The Bruins and Celtics have both been red-hot all season long. But can they both bring titles to Boston in 2023?

This piece from BetMassachusetts.com gives Boston the best odds:

BetMassachusetts.com utilized odds from DraftKings on February 14th to calculate the likelihood of a city having the NBA Champions & NHL Stanley Cup Champions in the same season. Boston ranks 1st in dual title odds at +2257 for the best shot at celebrating twice this summer.

I am not a betting person, but those odds look pretty damn good.

As you no doubt remember, it’s been over a decade since the Boston Bruins brought the Stanley Cup back to Boston in 2011. They’ve been to the Cup Finals twice since then, but they’ve come up short both times. That last appearance against the St. Louis Blues in 2019 was a real heartbreaker. A Game 7 that they should have one. It still sticks in the ol’ craw.

The Boston Celtics have had an even longer drought. Their last Championship came courtesy of the second Big Three–Garnett, Pierce, and Allen–in 2008. They returned to the NBA Finals two years later but were bested by their west coast rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers. And we all remember last year, when the Celtics came up short against the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 Finals.

Will Bruins, Celtics Both Bring Titles to Boston in 2023?

That’s enough looking back for now. Let’s look ahead instead. The Bruins and the Celtics both have a really good chance of winning it all this spring, and the BetMassachusetts number crunchers have laid it all out. Boston sits atop at Top 5 list of cities that have a real shot at dual titles in 2023. See how we stack up against the other four cities. And be thankful the B’s and C’s are so damn good right now…because the Patriots and Sox? Not so much.
