The Rock Hall Class of 2023 nominees have been announced, so naturally we have to put ’em all into this week’s 12-Inch Poll.
We had the story as soon as it broke this morning. Here’s part of the this year’s spiel:
The Rock Hall notes in a press release, “Eight out of 14 of the Nominees are on the ballot for the first time, including Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, Joy Division/New Order, Cyndi Lauper, George Michael, Willie Nelson, The White Stripes, and Warren Zevon. This is the first year of eligibility for Missy Elliott and The White Stripes.”
We also have a list of FORTY-FIVE artists who’ve been snubbed by the Rock Hall, despite having at least five years of eligibility. And while it would be tempting to throw a bunch of those names into a Poll, we won’t be doing that this week. Next week? Maybe. Actually, probably. I’ve done it before and I’d love to do it again. Because we all know there are too, too many artists that belong in the Hall that aren’t there. Yet.
Rock Hall Class of 2023: 12-Inch Poll
This week, however, we’ll focus on the 2023 nominees. There are three that you hear on the regular on ROCK 92.9: Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes. I say the first two are a layup. Maybe not Jack and Meg. Yet. The rest of the field has some strong contenders and some head-scratchers, as is usually the case with the Rock Hall’s nominees each year.
Take a spin through the list, familiarize yourself with who’s in the running this year, then choose the ONE artist that you ABSOLUTELY think belongs in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2023. And feel free to hit us up on Facebook or

If you could only choose ONE from the list and guarantee they'd get in, who would you choose? https://t.co/FegoDnjlpy
