Fancy! Of course, this was published in 2013, so it’s now dated data. That meant more digging for me. Next, I came across this Reddit thread which attempts to catalog every mention of California in every Red Hot Chili Peppers song. Like most Reddit threads, it starts strong with some helpful information, then devolves into confusion. And, it’s from 2016, so again: dated data.
Still, with the Geographical Statistics piece, the Reddit thread, and my own institutional knowledge of the music of the Chili Peppers, I feel confident that I can provide you with a comprehensive list of Red Hot Chili Peppers California songs.
