A major crossover event has just been announced — Halsey’s forthcoming album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power is being produced by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor!
Reznor is producing the album with NIN’s Atticus Ross; the duo have also previously worked on the award-winning original score for Disney’s 2020 Soul and 2010’s The Social Network.
Nine Inch Nails revealed the announcement on their Instagram, following Halsey’s own announcement on her page, writing, “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. The FOURTH album by @iamhalsey. Produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.”
NIN fans showed their support for the collaboration, with one user writing, “We are all Halsey fans on this blessed day.”
Another chimed in, “IVE NEVER LISTENED TO HALSEY BEFORE BUT OH BOY I WILL NOW.”
“The only reason I’d listen to it. Tbh,” wrote another.
This marks Halsey’s fourth studio album, following her 2020 release of Manic.
