It’s National Chicken Wing Day, Here’s 5 Great Deals
Happy National Chicken Wing Day! The mayor of Buffalo, New York declared it a holiday in 1977. So it’s the 48th year it’s been celebrated. Which is hard to believe when you think about it because for folks outside of the Buffalo region, wings didn’t become a sensation until the 80’s.
Prior to that people didn’t eat wings much, we pretty much stuck to drumsticks from KFC along with the thighs and breasts of course. We didn’t have exotic sauces to slather the chicken pieces with, they were just greasy and finger licking good.
Thanks to the genius of a Buffalo bar and restaurant we were introduces to these wonderfully lip smacking treat. Now you have so many other options to soak your wings in, everything from Korean BBQ to Carolina Reaper Sauce, there’s a sauce for every taste and desire.
