Watch as a gardener goes after a guy with a Weed Wacker! That’s definitely one way to attempt to stop a thief! Anything around you can be used as a weapon during a situation like this, and a Weed Wacker could do some serious damage!
Personally, I would stop in my tracks if someone came at me with a Weed Wacker. Did it stop this thief? Let’s find out!
Gardener Goes After Guy With A Weed Wacker
According to ABC 13, one of several suspects is now in custody after an encounter with a yard worker whose equipment he’s been accused of stealing–and it was all caught on camera.
The incident happened in Harris County, Texas. ABC 13 reports that four suspects were driving separate vehicles and allegedly stole several pieces of the worker’s equipment from the tailgate of his truck. In a video from the scene, you can see the suspects try to getaway in a car but the worker quickly responds by throwing a Weed Wacker at them in an effort to stop them. It does cause one of the suspects to fall out of the car.
In the video, the worker chases the fallen suspect with the garden equipment before being joined by a neighbor to subdue the suspect. It’s a crazy sight! The fallen suspect has been identified as Jarrell Alexander. He’s since been charged with aggravated robbery, per ABC 13.
Law enforcement is now looking to identify the other suspects involved in the scene. An investigation is currently underway. I can’t imagine being chased by one of those! They are insanely sharp and dangerous. I would absolutely drop everything, apologize and hope to make it out of there with all of my limbs and appendages.

While committing crimes may seem black and white (you either broke the law or you didn’t), there are certainly some crimes that are dumber than others. Sometimes it’s the crime itself that’s wild, other times, it’s the people committing said crimes. These are 5 of the craziest, cringeworthy crimes ever committed.
Crimes can happen anywhere, anytime, to anyone. However, it takes a very unique individual, a case study if you will, to commit some of these outrageously dumb crimes. Years ago, these criminals would have been featured on Spike TV or one of those America’s Dumbest Criminal shows. Today, I’m not sure if those shows are around…and I’m certain Spike TV isn’t around anymore. That’s a story for another time.

Craziest Crimes
Crimes can happen for a number of reasons. They may happen out of necessity. They could also happen on accident. These crimes, however, do not fall into those categories. These crimes are different. None of these would accidentally happen. They also aren’t a matter of life or death. There’s no ethics quiz here, or any matters of ‘would you steal bread to support your family?’ These crimes, and criminals, aren’t straight up cringeworthy.
