Middle School Student Accused Of Assaulting Another Using Stanley Cup
A Middle School student assaulted another kid using a Stanley Cup! Here we were thinking kids wanted them because they’re fashionable, trendy, and functional. Evidently, they can also be useful for hitting other students with.
Now, the 13-year-old could face charges over the assault! That is not how these cups are intended to be used. Here’s more on the trending story below.
Student Hits Another Student With Stanley Cup
According to Fox News, a middle school student in Pennsylvania is accused of an unprovoked attack against a fellow student. FOX 29 reports that the student allegedly came up behind a 12-year-old victim in the cafeteria and began “violently hitting her on the head with a Stanley cup.”
The incident was captured on surveillance video and the victim was taken to the hospital to treat their injuries. They are expected to be okay. However, the student who allegedly hit the other could now be facing charges for what happened.
The alleged assault occurred at Pennbrook Middle School. Sarah Batory says her son witnessed the attack and tells FOX 29 that her son texted her saying, “Mom, I’m scared.” She went on to tell FOX 29, “I can’t even tell you what it’s like to get a text message like that when your kid’s at school. He’s been a mess ever since. I just feel like there had to be multiple failures along the way for this to happen.”
Student Could Face Charges Over Stanley Cup Incident
Another parent at the school says she has reported that same student in the past for threatening her daughter, according to Fox News. She tells FOX 29 that her daughter is traumatized by what happened. It sounds like this was an incredibly violent attack and that the suspect has shown signs of aggressive behavior in the past. It would be very scary to witness a classmate get beaten by a Stanley cup in school. Those things are heavy and can do some serious damage!

Crimes can happen for a number of reasons. They may happen out of necessity. They could also happen on accident. These crimes, however, do not fall into those categories. These crimes are different. None of these would accidentally happen. They also aren’t a matter of life or death. There’s no ethics quiz here, or any matters of ‘would you steal bread to support your family?’ These crimes, and criminals, aren’t straight up cringeworthy.
