Now the headline for this post sounds like a perfect party for James!
A former San Pedro, California, Taco Bell employee has filed a lawsuit after she alleges she was forced to quit her job after bringing the activities of a holiday party to the attention of the franchisee and human resources.
According to a report by the New York Post, the employee claims that at the Taco Bell restaurant holiday party, her manager was engaged in a sex romp with another employee and their wife, there was alcohol provided with employees being overserved, and finally the biggest party foul…someone puked in her bowl of guacamole.
Alana Bechiom filed a lawsuit after she along with her sister and her sister’s husband attended the Taco Bell party which was a potluck-style gathering. The manager, who is one of the people named in the lawsuit, had covered the windows of the restaurant with wrapping paper and covered various security cameras. While inviting employees to come and encouraging them to bring food potluck style.
Bechiom claims while at the party that employees were over-served alcohol that her manager had brought. She witnessed a co-worker engaged in sex with his wife in front of everyone. Alleging that the co-worker’s wife was bent over and kissing her manager and another female co-worker. The complaint also alleged that employees were vomiting everywhere, in the trash, and in the worst spot…in her bowl of guacamole, she brought for the potluck.
After witnessing those acts of debauchery Bechiom left the party disgusted and reported the incident to the franchisee owner as well as the company’s human resources. After the complaints, an investigation was opened and the employees involved were all terminated.
That’s when Bechiom started to be threatened and had the back window of her car smashed out allegedly by someone associated with the terminated employees. She says that she started getting threatening messages and when it was reported to the company, they were going to move her to a different location instead of addressing the harassment with the employees.
She has filed suit for an undisclosed amount in damages.
