In Between Days Festival to Feature Sober-Supportive Space
In Between Days will soon be upon us. And the festival will feature a first-of-its-kind sober-supportive space.
If you’re just waking up from a summer slumber, In Between Days takes place on Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20 at Veteran’s Memorial Stadium in Quincy. The two-day music festival will feature sets from Modest Mouse, Sunny Day Real Estate, Trampled By Turtles, and more. Get the full lineup here, and take advantage of their no-fee ticket pricing structure here.
When you attend the festival, you’ll also be able to take advantage of something new, if you choose to. In Between Days has partnered with 1 Million Strong, the organization known for moving the conversation forward about sobriety, recovery, and support for those impacted by addiction. A big part of that endeavor is their community The Phoenix. And that community is coming to the festival.

From the press release: “The Phoenix is greatly excited to join forces with In Between Days this year as we bring our passion for supporting the recovery community to our hometown fans,” says Scott Strode, the Founder and National Executive Director of The Phoenix. “Expanding our reach to festival environments through 1 Million Strong allows us to extend our support and empowerment to fans, fostering a culture of wellness and inclusivity in the music industry.”
So what will that look like to us, the festival-goers? The 1 Million Strong Retreat tent will be open to all. Attendees can snap selfies in the photo booth, grab paper fans, freshen up their sunscreen, grab earplugs or bandannas or hats, and enter to win goodies like t-shirts. Good on In Between Days for creating space for a sober sanctuary at this year’s festival. Learn more about it here, and we’ll see you in Quincy in August.
