The 4th of July Weekend is a 4th of JuLIVE Weekend
This year, the 4th of July Weekend is a 5-day weekend. So we’re making it a 4th of JuLIVE Weekend on ROCK 92.9.
We know what you’re saying: “Actually it’s a 4-day weekend. Because the 4th is on a Tuesday this year.” Yes, the 4th is on a Tuesday. But no, it’s not a 4-day weekend. It’s a 5-day weekend, as far as we’re concerned. We’re counting Friday, dammit. Because even if you have to work a half-day or a full-day on Friday, we all know you’re not actually working. So 5 days it is. Because we said so.
And it’s on Friday when the big weekend gets underway. Adam 12 officially starts our 4th of JuLIVE weekend at noon, during the two hours commercial-free he kicks off ever weekday after Dave & Chuck the Freak. Hardy picks things up at 4 p.m. to make that Friday afternoon holiday weekend drive a little less awful. Then? They’re off for the weekend, just like you (hopefully). And it’s all about the music.
The 4th of July Weekend is a 4th of JuLIVE Weekend
So what exactly is the 4th of JuLIVE weekend? You’ve probably figured that one out by now. Live cuts, all weekend long, from some of the artists we love the most on ROCK 92.9. Think Metallica, Green Day, Guns & Roses, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Def Leppard, Weezer, Motley Crue, and more. All thrown into the mix with all the rock we love to play for you on the regular.
And no matter where the 4th of July weekend takes you, we’re there with you. On the radio, online, or on the free ROCK 92.9 app. And if you’re at home or at a vacation home with a smart speaker, just say: “Alexa, open ROCK 92.9.” It’s all from the station that loves to do it live, Boston’s ROCK 92.9!
