A Bank Robbery Was Foiled When The Getaway Car Is Stolen
Sometimes life just isn’t fair. Alan Duncan, from Minnesota, traveled over to Chicago, reportedly with the master plan of robbing banks.
First, authorities say Duncan robbed the Selfreliance Federal Credit Union. Then, he “returned to Minnesota after the robbery,” and then headed back to the Windy City to rob another bank ten days later.
This time around, there was a problem. According to what Duncan allegedly told his brother, someone stole Duncan’s getaway car…along with the stolen money that was inside of it.
Duncan was arrested and investigators have successfully tracked the stolen car that was registered in his name…and now are investigating the thief for other crimes…like bank robbery.
