George Thorogood has been forced to cancel a number of upcoming tour dates due to being diagnosed with a “very serious medical condition.”
The news was shared via Thorogood’s Facebook page where it was noted he would “require immediate surgery and quite a few weeks of recuperation and healing.” Additionally, fans can obtain refunds from their point of purchase.
The Facebook statement concluded, “You, our fans, mean the world to us, and we know this news is not want you wanted to hear, but rest assured George Thorogood & The Destroyers will be back. We’ll keep you updated as we know more.”
The dates that have been canceled are as follows:
