Fun Fact: Prince Has His Own Merch Store at Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport
Prince and his reach are seemingly boundless, even when it comes to retail storefronts at major airports.
Comedian and correspondent for The Daily Show Roy Wood Jr. recently shared a photo from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) of an entire store that sells only Prince merchandise.
Wood shared along with the photo, “What other artist could have a whole ass merch store in their hometown airport? Beyoncé? Adele? Outkast maybe?”

Per The Star Tribune, the Prince Shop opened at MSP in June 2019 and “…is the first of its kind.” The outlet noted, “It offers an expanded line of merchandise beyond the gift shop at Paisley Park, which had been the only brick-and-mortar site with a full offering of official Prince merchandise.”
For those visiting MSP in the future, the Prince Shop is in the mall area inside Terminal 1. Fans can also purchase tour tickets to Paisley Park at the Prince Shop.
