Marilyn Manson’s Home Raided By L.A. County Sheriff’s Investigators
Marilyn Manson’s home was raided by L.A. County Sheriff investigators Monday morning (November 29) stemming from ongoing cases pertaining to multiple allegations of sexual abuse.
Per Rolling Stone, “Special Victims Unit investigators searched for belongings in connection to the sexual assault allegations against him. It is unclear what was taken from the location.”
Rolling Stone also quoted a source within the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department saying, “What I can confirm is there was a search warrant that was served this morning. It’s confirmed it was [his] address, his location. It was a search warrant for his belongings.”
Gossip site TMZ reported regarding the raid, “We’re told Marilyn was not home at the time … and law enforcement forced entry with a warrant in hand…Police seized media storage units, including hard drives, which will be reviewed before the case is submitted to the Los Angeles County District Attorney.”
A number of women have come forward in 2021 with accusations of physical, mental and sexual abuse from Manson. Rolling Stone published a lengthy investigation earlier this month made up of over 55 new interviews.
One of the more high-profile accusations came Manson’s ex-fiance, actress Evan Rachel Wood. On February 1, Wood, who has spoken publically about suffering abuse at the hands of an unnamed ex, issued a statement via Instagram saying her abuser was Manson. Following her statement, Vanity Fair published statements of four additional women who have come forward following Wood’s statement, accusing Manson of abusive behavior.
