Pastry chef and owner Joanne Chang along with her husband and co-owner Christopher Myers, wanted Flour to be people’s neighborhood bakery, where they could walk in and feel a cozy atmosphere while offering sophisticated sweets and desserts.
Flour Bakery has a simple philosophy “things should taste great!”. The passion that goes behind each menu item can be felt and tasted in every bite, and when you walk in and are not sure what you should choose, the friendly and attentive staff will help you find the perfect treat for what you are craving.
Over the years, Flour Bakery as well as Joanne Chang, have been on the receiving end of many awards and accolades including Joanne winning her first James Beard Award in 2016 for Outstanding Baker. Flour has also been featured in multiple travel magazines and nationalized television shows included Throwback with Bobby Flay.
Joanne has also added author to her list of titles, writing five cookbooks inspired by menu items that can be found at Flour Bakery.
