VIDEO: Billy Gibbons Appraises Vintage ZZ Top Stage Outfit on ‘Pawn Stars’
Billy Gibbons provided a really cool moment on a recent episode of History Channel’s hit series Pawn Stars when he helped appraise an old stage outfit he wore in the 1970s.
The moment can be viewed below in which a woman brings in a rare Nudie’s Rodeo Suit that used to belong to Gibbons. Pawn Stars boss Rick Harrison asks the woman whether she has any proof the suit actually belonged to Gibbons. She didn’t, so Harrison says he could have “a guy” who doesn’t live too far away to come into the shop to verify the suit was the real deal.
Enter Billy Gibbons.
Gibbons was stunned to see the suit again and said he had left it on a plane decades ago. “By the time I realized it was MIA, I called the airline, and the cleaning crew had gone in, so I completely thought this had vaporized,” said Gibbons. He also quipped, “It still looks like it might fit.”
The woman who brought the suit in was hoping to get $25,000 for it. Once Gibbons confirmed it was his suit, she ended up getting way more than that. Watch the video in its entirety to see how much she walked away with.
