Training camp has begun for the Patriots, but the team has yet to open sessions to reporters. The video depicts the McCourty twins and wide receiver Gunner Olszewski, among other Patriots.
The Pats enter training camp with eight players having decided to opt out of the 2020 season, tight end Matt LaCosse being the most recent one. The NFL reportedly moved the deadline for players to opt out to Thursday, August 6 at 4 p.m. New England has the most players to opt out so far.
Ahead of the 2020 NFL regular season, the league and players association have reportedly agreed to cancel the entire preseason. So the Patriots’ first taste of real football will be Sept. 13 against the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium.
The Patriots also released new headshots of the roster in the team’s modified uniforms. That includes quarterback Cam Newton.
