The 2020 Boston Marathon Has Been Cancelled
For the 1st time in its’ 124 year history, the Boston Marathon has been cancelled.
Boston.com has reported that the 2020 Boston Marathon, originally scheduled for April 20 and then rescheduled for this September due to COVID-19, has been cancelled. Organizers have said that they will instead hold a ‘virtual event’. Participants who verify that they ran the 26.2 miles on their own can still receive their finisher’s medal.
