Massachusetts Pot Shops To Open; Offer Curbside Pickup
You can once again legally buy recreational marijuana in Massachusetts again, with dispensaries set to reopen on May 25th.
After being closed on March 24th, as part of the Bay State’s COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, weed shops in Massachusetts will now reopen next week for curbside delivery, under orders from the state’s Cannabis Control Commission that were issued on Monday evening.
No customers will be allowed inside the establishments, however a limited number of customers could be allowed inside in the future, as the state continues to ramp up its four phase reopening plan.
“We appreciate this gesture of confidence by the Administration,” the Commonwealth Dispensary Association, said in a statement. “By beginning to safely resume adult-use cannabis operations […] our industry will continue to make critical contributions by bringing in millions of dollars of state and local tax revenue to help fill depleted public funds.”
