Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason joined the ranks of many other iconic British musicians recently and was awarded Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE.)

Mason received the honor from The Duke of Cambridge (Prince Harry) for his “services to Music.” Mason, who is an avid collector of rare automobiles, playfully joked when sharing the honor via Twitter that he was “just surprised that the Award is given for services to music rather than to the used car trade!”

Mason recently wrapped up the U.K. leg of his Saucerful of Secrets tour. He’ll have some time off from the road until July, when the European leg of the tour begins. A full list of tour dates can be found at TheSaucerfulOfSecrets.com.
