The Town and The City Festival in Lowell returns for two more days of music and arts on April 28 and April 29, 2023.
The parade of festival announcements continues here in January of 2023, where we’ve been averaging once announcement per week. It all started earlier this month with the news that In Between Days Music Festival would return to Quincy this August 19 and 20. Modest Mouse and Sunny Day Real Estate are the big names; you can enter to win tickets here.
Then it was on to Boston Calling Music Festival. The tradition continues at the Harvard Athletic Grounds, which has played host to the Memorial Day Weekend festival every year since 2017 (minus the COVID years, of course). The big news? Foo Fighters are making good on their previously-cancelled headlining slot. And yes, you can enter to win tickets to that one, too.
Last week, Beach Road Weekend touted their return to Martha’s Vineyard in late August. The three-day festival features the likes of Mumford & Sons, Bon Iver, and Leon Bridges as headliners. It will all play out on the Vineyard on the weekend of August 25 through August 27. That feels like a way’s off, but you’ll want to make your travel and lodging plans sooner as opposed to later because, you know, Martha’s Vineyard.
The Town and The City Festival in Lowell is Back for 2023
“A spring celebration of music and art in Lowell,” the Forth Annual edition of The Town and the City Festival features an outstanding and diverse lineup of national and local acts. I’ll walk you through some of the stand-outs below, but make sure to grab your two-day pass ASAP. You can do that here. Visit their website for the full lineup of acts, venues, and associated events.
