Beach Road Weekend Music Festival just announced its 2023 lineup, so let’s take a look and see who’s playing this year.
The festival, which takes place on the Vineyard in late August, is the latest local fest to lay out its lineup and dates. Earlier in January, In Between Days Music Festival announced a return to Quincy on August 19 and 20, with Modest Mouse as a big-name headliner. Then, Boston Calling Music Festival called out its return on Memorial Day weekend, with Foo Fighters headlining the Friday slate of performers. Tickets for both festivals are on sale now.
Of course, you don’t need to buy ’em if you win ’em, right? Enter to win your Boston Calling tickets here. Then, enter to win your In Between Days tickets here.
Beach Road Weekend Returns to Martha’s Vineyard
So what of Beach Road Weekend? Well, to start with, they have a trio of pretty big headliners: Mumford & Sons, Bon Iver, and Leon Bridges. We don’t play these bands on ROCK 92.9, but I play the hell out of ’em at home. And I’ve seen all three live and can confirm they’re all worth the price of admission. Leon Bridges, especially.
Here’s a quote from the Beach Road Weekend press release:
“This is a powerhouse lineup that has something really special for everyone. It’s the ideal blend of folk, rock, and soul that give everyone those great beach vibes we all hope to have all summer long,” said Adam Epstein, founder and creator of Beach Road Weekend. “We had a great Festival last summer and in 2023 we’re building off that success and will be delivering one of the best live music experiences in the country.”
Get familiar with more of the lineup below. Ticket and hotel packages go on sale on January 27, but you can sign up for the presale on the Beach Road website.
