1) Parking
Parking around Fenway is an expensive headache, no matter the event. Save a few bucks and some hassle: park on Boylston St. on the other side of Mass Ave. The Dalton St. garage and the hotels by the Hynes are decent options. It’s only a 5-10 minute walk.
2) Pregaming
I caught the Lana Del Rey show in June and let me tell you: beer ain’t cheap at a Fenway show. Luckily, Lansdowne St. has plenty of spots to have a few reasonably-priced pre-show pops. My Fenway show tips recs? Bill’s Bar and The Lansdowne Pub.
3) Passage
Pay attention to what gate you’re meant to enter through. Yes, you’ll wait in line. But entering Fenway through the correct gate will put you as close as possible to your seats. You don’t want to be stuck wading through the throngs inside the Park.
4) Planning
Waiting in a concession or merch line at Fenway is a rookie move. Here’s the most important Fenway show tip of all: don’t queue up between sets. Dip out for a song during the headliner. No lines. You’ll be back enjoying the show before you know it.
