How did a Florida boat thief try to escape the police? Well, it’s something you’d probably see in a movie but haven’t seen attempted in real life.
It’s definitely a clever decision and move. However, it doesn’t seem like it worked. Here’s more on the story.
What Did A Florida Boat Thief Do To Escape The Police?
The incident started in Lakeport, Florida when Glades County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were investigating a recovered stolen boat. According to My Suncoast, the alleged suspect has been identified as Joshua Kolotka. My Suncoast reports that as law enforcement was investigating they observed Kolotka exiting a nearby residence dressed as a woman attempting to disguise himself.
However, it doesn’t seem like it worked as he was apprehended. He was arrested for two warrants, along with stealing a John Deere Gator and a stolen boat. My Suncoast reports other items were found at the scene that could have been stolen, as well.
