Ringo Starr, Ron Wood Performs with Paul McCartney at Closing Tour Date
Paul McCartney wrapped his 2024 Got Back tour in London on Dec. 19, and he was joined by two very special guests: Ringo Starr and Ron Wood.
Joining Sir Paul on stage first was Wood for a performance of the Beatles classic “Get Back.” Then, during the encore, Starr came out, and he and Macca performed “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)” and “Helter Skelter.”

The Coolest Thing Paul McCartney Did in 2024
Back in September, Paul McCartney made a surprise appearance during a set by comedian Deon Cole.
Cole shared the moment to X (formerly Twitter) and captioned it, in part, “My friend Paul came to watch me work on new material last night. We had a blast.” (Due to the language in the clip, it can be watched here.)
In the clip, Cole introduces Sir Paul by saying, “I got high with my friend tonight, and we had a good time. Come here. Ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for my friend Paul McCartney.”
Cole continued, “I had to smoke, and that’s why this is happening, and y’all motherf—ers did not give no love to me at all tonight.” McCartney chimed in and said, “I’ve just been enjoying seeing you working through this material, and you’re right, some of it bombed.”
