What’s the ridiculous reason an Indiana woman called 911? She was trying to rat out someone, only for it to backfire back onto herself.
Note: if you’re looking to get your drug dealer in trouble, calling the police to complain about the bad drugs you received probably isn’t the best idea! Here’s more on the story below.
Indiana Woman Calls Police To Rat Out Drug Dealer
According to The New York Post, this Indiana woman, Sarah Harris, 34, called 911 twice to complain that she was supplied with a bad bag of methamphetamine. Then, Harris handed the drugs over to the cops at her home in Bedford hoping they could test the authenticity of the drugs.
The New York Post reports Harris allegedly admitted to snorting a line of the substance and then felt “something different when it touched her skin and nostrils.” When it didn’t match the feeling of previous batches of meth she had experienced, she decided to get law enforcement involved. One of the many, many poor decisions she made.
Basically, she was willing to bring herself down if it meant getting her drug dealer in trouble, as well. Well, we’re not sure what ended up happening to the alleged drug dealer, if anything happened at all. However, we know what happened to Harris and it appears that things did not go the way she had originally hoped. The New York Post reports she was charged with possession of meth–which is a felony that carries a maximum sentence of 30-months behind bars.
Why Did An Indiana Woman Call 911 On Herself?
This was not her first run in with Johnny Law. She’s reportedly previously been arrested for theft, meth possession, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, resisting, and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, per The New York Post.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
