When Looking For A Parking Spot This Holiday Season, Don’t Be This Guy
Parking lot rage?
We all have heard about “road rage’ but now we are dealing with “parking lot rage”. Remember when looking for a parking spot this holiday season, don’t be this guy. First of all, as much as we think we can claim the spot because we saw if first, there are times when we have to let it go and just shake your head.
How many times have you had your eyes on a spot that was opening and you put your blinker on indicating that you intended to pull into it, then out of the blue appears another vehicle from the opposite direction that swoops in and grabs it. This will test your ability to deal with “parking lot rage”. Mostly I would honk and let them know in no uncertain terms that I had the spot first. Maybe I would give them the “wagging finger of shame”, shake my head in disbelief and carry on.
What would Jesus do?
It’s best if we keep in mind the reason for the season while we are on the hunt for a parking spot. After all, isn’t Christmas supposed to be the season for giving and forgiving? So, maybe we can be less aggravated and hostile when it comes to the parking lot safari hunt.
Here’s a viral video that combines “Florida man” AND Black Friday. A guy was convinced someone stole his parking spot at a mall, so he got out of his car and threatened the driver and her passenger.
When looking for a parking spot this holiday season, don’t be this guy!
He bangs on the windows, yells, and kicks a door so hard it leaves a dent. The passenger in the car is filming him . . . and she eventually calls the cops. He hangs around for a while yelling at other people, and then leaves.
(PROFANITY WARNING: There’s an S-word at 0:48 and F-word at 1:37 in the video. Here’s a follow-up clip.)
