What Tried-And-True Excuse Did a Burglar Try To Use?
Police officers in Louisiana were responding to a call about a suspicious man pulling on door handles to parked cars at an apartment complex.
The suspect actually made their way into a truck parked in the lot. When officers arrived they spotted Christopher Samuel, leaving the area in question. Upon questioning Samuel admitted that he did in fact enter the truck.
He told officers the reason why he did it was because he was sleepwalking. He still ended up getting arrested. Officers aren’t sure where the suspect allegedly fell asleep and started his sleepwalking journey, but he lived more than 3 miles away from officers found him.
If convicted Samuel could be facing 12 years in prison.
