Betty White Dead at 99
The beloved actress and comedian Betty White has died at the age of 99.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Betty passed away at her home Friday morning.
Betty began her acting career in 1939 but one of her most famous roles was playing Rose Nylund in The Golden Girls, which ran from 1985 to 1992.
The treasured American icon has numerous accolades to her name including multiple Emmys, Screen Actors Guild Awards, American Comedy Awards, and a Grammy for spoken word album If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won’t).
Her passing was just weeks before her milestone 100th birthday on January 17.
