Other Worldly Noises on the Roads?
Drivers Have Been Hearing Other Worldly Noises on the Roads
We have to admit, it would be weird to hear a strange noise coming from your car while driving down the road. We don’t think we’d be jumping to “other worldly” conclusions, though. For some drivers in the Macomb County area of Michigan, that’s exactly what some of them did.
According to reports from WDIV, “Eerie noises on northbound M-53 near 18 ½ Mile Road in Macomb County had drivers scratching their heads and pulling over, thinking there’s something wrong with the road or their cars. Good news—there’s not.” Some people say it sounded like seals, some people said it sounded like they were being abducted by aliens. Turns out it’s just the was the asphalt lays sometimes after being repaved, and it will go away in the coming weeks or months.
We’d like to think most people weren’t jumping to the conclusions of “other worldly noises”. But, you never know these days. Andy took on the role of a concerned citizen calling the news about the noises. He’s frantic, and letting the news know that there might be an alien invasion taking place in Macomb County. That’s the only explanation for a noise, in just one little part of a road.
Then, they talk about some highways in the world where they’ve built in musical roads. They have intentionally created what’s happening in Macomb County but in a pattern, so when you drive over it at a specific speed, it makes music. None of us are really interested in driving down a musical road. In fact, Andy says if he encountered a musical road then he would be one of the people calling the news to report it.
If you have driven down this specific strip of road in Macomb County, what did you think it sounded like? Did you know it wasn’t other worldly noises? Let us know!
